Ron St.Pierre
Ron founded Valence after more than a decade in the consumer product goods industry. His experience includes analyzing consumer trends, developing marketing plans and managing business-client relationships for some of the world’s most recognizable brands through agency giants like Leo Burnett, Shupp, Starcom Mediavest, Upshot and GMR Marketing. Ron has extensive experience in event marketing, brand positioning, new product launches, media strategy and cross-merchandising. He has negotiated, planned, and executed premier sponsorships such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival; Voodoo Music Experience; the New Orleans Hornets; Talladega Superspeedway; LSU Sports Properties; and The University of Alabama. Ron served eight years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and studied marketing at Loyola University.

Skeet Hanks
Skeet offers over twenty years of experience in advertising, creative design, art direction and management. In addition to creating award-winning campaigns for Popeye’s Fried Chicken, French Market Corporation, Wynn Resorts and Serranos Salsa Company, among others, he has been a direct consultant on the marketing plans for many of those same brands. Skeet’s work has won more than 30 ADDY® awards, including two Best of Print awards. An accomplished musician, he has written advertising scores and theme songs for companies including Boudreaux’s Jewelers and Keep Louisiana Beautiful. He has an inherent understanding of the interaction between strategy and creative and has helped companies achieve tremendous growth and market share.

Jennifer Kelley
Jennifer Kelley offers nearly fifteen years of marketing, management and business development experience. Her background encompasses all three sides of the table–as a client, media vendor and agency consultant, with the titles to prove it … General Sales Manager, Promotions Manager and Director of New Business Development.Jen has an eye for detail and budgetary discipline. Her hands-on experience spans event, product and service marketing campaigns for clients in a wide variety of industries, from economic development and local government to food and beverage and live music. Jen holds a music degree with a business emphasis from Loyola University.

Jonathan Maki
As Interactive Media Manager, Jonathan oversees digital brand development, social media campaigns, e-commerce development, website design and digital consumerism. He holds a Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Mississippi and completed his Masters in Business Administration, with a focus on Digital Media Management, at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Jonathan has worked closely with a number of local media, marketing, advertising and public relations organizations. As director of social networking for Voodoo Music Experience, he was vital to the festival’s overall marketing strategy. Working closely with core sponsors Sony Playstation and Fuse Television, Jonathan successfully broadened marketing efforts by coordinating with management for musical artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Wyclef Jean, and Joss Stone, as well as media companies like Clear Channel Radio and Westwood One Radio Networks.

Matt Oubre
Matt comes to Valence with ten years of graphic design experience, most recently as the chief Creative where he oversaw brand development and execution for regional hospitality campaigns and countless print and digital media. His career has also included a variety of positions with print companies, giving him broad insight into paper selection, print techniques and vendor relations. Matt brings a unique perspective to brand development and re-development. His brands are represented in the non-profit and for-profit sector throughout Greater New Orleans, including a number of hospitality properties in the French Quarter. Matt holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Nicholls State University (“Harvard on the Bayou”) with a concentration in graphic design.

Hayley Mitchell
A graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelors of Science in Communications and double minor in Computer Science and Digital Media, Hayley is responsible for developing and executing client communication plans. Her experience includes software design and training for a national technology company, where she constructed an online learning course to augment on-site training. Hayley isn’t new to the NOLA scene, having previously interned with a local public relations firm, giving her valuable insight into media relations and social media strategy, moderation and response in the area. She has a particular interest in developing and executing communications strategies for non-profits, which has driven her to volunteer for numerous organizations across the state of Alabama.

Allison Price
Allison has managed local and national accounts for more than six years. She is an exceptional project manager, crafting and executing multi-faceted marketing and communications plans in a variety of industries—salons and spas, schools, restaurants, medical offices, personal trainers, mitigation firms and law offices, just to name a few. For a significant portion of her career, Allison has focused on Internet marketing and search engine optimization strategies. As an Account Executive at Valence, Allison oversees all day-to-day account operations, including media buying, pre-press operations, strategic planning and execution, administrative management and public relations and event planning and promotion. She is also the account lead on a variety of website projects, putting her web development Internet marketing experience to work as the liaison between the client and our developers.
